A one-night, one-location performance video shot on 16mm for the single "Amber Static."
Shot in a single overnight session in a decommissioned radio transmitter building, the video for Reyna Actual’s “Amber Static” was captured on 16mm to match the analog theme of the single itself. Lighting leaned entirely on practicals sourced from the building’s original equipment — vacuum-tube indicator lamps, a working rotary beacon — supplemented only where the film stock’s exposure latitude required it.
The 16mm negative was scanned and graded to preserve rather than clean up the format’s grain structure, and the edit was cut in-house to the final mix rather than to a scratch track, so several cuts land on sounds that only exist in the finished single.
