Color is graded on-site in a calibrated suite using lift/gamma/gain primary correction and 3D LUT-style secondary looks, developed collaboratively with a project’s director and DP rather than applied as a fixed preset. The studio’s grading philosophy favors protecting what the camera and lighting departments already built — matching and evening a scene before pushing a stylized look, rather than using color to compensate for choices that should have been made on set.
Color grading is available standalone for productions shot elsewhere, and is the service most frequently booked on its own by outside production companies who know Loupe’s grading work from its own features.
