Loupe’s cinematography approach starts with what a location is already doing with light and works outward from there — practicals adjusted or supplemented rather than replaced, blocking built around a space’s real geometry rather than a generic coverage pattern. The studio shoots digital and film formats depending on a project’s needs and budget, most recently 16mm for a music video that called for the format’s grain and halation specifically.
Cinematography is offered both as part of a full Loupe production and as a standalone DP-for-hire service for clients producing through another company.
